Soap Box Derby - The Soap Box Derby is a youth soapbox car racing program which has been run nationally since 1934. World Championship finals are held each August at Derby Downs in Akron, Ohio.

Derby Downs - Derby Downs, in Akron, Ohio, has been the home track of the All American Soap Box Derby since it was built as a WPA project in the late 1930s. The three-lane asphalt track starts near the top of George Washington Boulevard and drops in a straight line down the wooded hill in the shadow of the Rubber Bowl, ending under final approach for runway 27 of Akron Fulton International Airport.

Soap-box cart - A soap-box cart is a wheeled vehicle frequently built by children (and some adults) for recreation. The name soap-box cart reflects the fact that wooden crates used to transport soap were, historically, very often the starting point for building these, though many other materials are used.

Box Car Racer - Box Car Racer was a side-project (it is insisted by Tom Delonge that it was never a "band" but rather a project) created by Tom DeLonge of blink-182. While blink took a break in 2002, DeLonge formed Box Car Racer to experiment with and record ideas he felt did not fit in with blink's sound.
